Hidden Lakes Trout Farm closed due to flooding

Hidden Lakes Trout Farm, at Hidden Oaks Preserve in Bolingbrook, is closed due to flooding following the heavy rains. The DuPage River, which runs through the preserve, has overflowed its banks. Hidden Oaks Preserve and Hidden Oaks Nature Center will be open their normal business hours. 

The boat launch at Whalon Lake also is closed to due rising water levels in the lake. Whalon Lake is open for non-boating activities.

Additionally, all boating activity on the DuPage River has been restricted by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources due to unsafe conditions.
