Event details

This ongoing program runs from Sunday, June 1, to Saturday, Aug. 31. Preserve hours are 8 a.m. to sunset.

It’s summer vacation time, but humans aren’t the only animals that travel. Whether a short leap or a long migration, wildlife is also on the go! Hike the shoreline of Snapper Pond to follow “Travel Tales,” an outdoor exploration trail. Ten resident animals are featured at the 10 trail stops, exploring how the creatures wiggle, soar, slink and more!

Amp up the fun by dropping into Plum Creek Nature Center to grab a selfie sheet. Click your pics and share your best shot to claim a prize. Our favorites will be added to the future “Faces of Nature” display.
