The 17-year wait has ended, and the red-eyed periodical cicadas have emerged! This has historically been the largest emergence anywhere. Come see and hear what all the fuss is about. Hike and learn about this fascinating true bug as well as some of its annually emerging cousins.

Registration required by Thursday, May 30: 815-722-9470.
The hike will be up to 1.5 miles and will take place on uneven natural surface trails. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
