This ongoing program runs from Saturday, April 13, to Sunday, April 28. Hours are 8 a.m. to sunset.
Clean out the garage and make a difference by recycling your bicycle! The Forest Preserve District is collecting for Working Bikes, an organization that refurbishes and distributes bikes locally and globally as tools of empowerment. No bike is too old or rusty!

The bike drop is located just to the left of the kayak launch at the McKinley Woods – Kerry Sheridan Grove parking lot. The parking lot area is paved and accessible. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
