Vendors sought for Festival of Arts Through Nature on Sept. 26

Vendors are being sought for the Forest Preserve District’s Festival of Arts through Nature event scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at Plum Creek Nature Center in Crete Township.

“We are looking for vendors that combine art and nature,” said Marissa Jones, facility office manager at Plum Creek. “Are you an artisan that makes products that are natural or related to nature in some way? If so, fill out an application to be considered for this fun gathering.”

Vendors will receive a 10-by-10-foot space at the event, which features hands-on activities, visual arts, music, culinary treats and more. There is no set-up fee for this event. 

To apply, send a description of your items and one to two sample pictures to [email protected] by Tuesday, Sept. 1. Also include your name, company, address, phone and email address and whether you will be providing demonstrations of your work during the festival.
