After purchasing the 33-acre Hidden Oaks Preserve in February, the Forest Preserve District has beenmaking improvements and repairs. Last week, seven new ADA accessible benches were installed and the electric panel that runs the wells to feed the ponds was replaced.

Hidden Oaks Nature Center offers visitors a place to learn about the natural environment around them, with hands-on exhibits, live reptiles and interactive play elements. Offerings and amenities include:
