Event details

Take your kayaking to the next level by learning a variety of rescues with certified paddling instructors. We will demonstrate and practice self-rescues as well as cooperative rescues. Learn about the different types of kayaks and what makes some easier to enter from the water than others. We will have time to try all of our safety rescue equipment, and there is the option to bring your own boat to see how you and your own kayak perform in various scenarios.

Event requirements

Registration required by Wednesday, Aug. 19: 815-722-4121.
