Join Four Rivers and the Channahon Park District as we host the Flotsam River Circus on the shore of the Des Plaines River. What happens when the world goes awry and mutant fish take over? Join us as we experience this new world through aerial acrobatics, circus acts, songs and silliness. 

Flotsam River Circus is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the goal of spreading whimsy, wonder and a spirit of possibility. 

Event requirements

No registration required.

Please plan to bring camp chairs or blankets to sit on during the free performance, which begins at 6 p.m.

This program takes place along the shores of the Des Plaines River behind the Four Rivers Environmental Education Center and is accessible via a paved sidewalk. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
