Visitor Center Amenities

The Four Rivers Environmental Education Center is a model of green architecture, featuring geothermal heat and air conditioning, recycled building materials, and water conservation features.

The Center offers indoor and outdoor facility rentals for conferences, banquets, and meetings, including the Four Rivers Shelter. Learn more about facility rentals at Four Rivers, or download the Four Rivers rental brochure.

The Center also provides a picturesque setting for wedding ceremonies and receptions. In 2012 and 2013, the facility won WeddingWire's Bride’s Choice Award for wedding venues. For more information about wedding rentals:

The Center is open by permit or appointment only.

The Four Rivers Environmental Education Center is located at McKinley Woods - Kerry Sheridan Grove, which offers the following amenities and activities:

Programs and Events

A variety of fun and educational public programs are hosted at Four Rivers Environmental Education Center throughout the year, including nature programs and interpretive hikes. The Center also features the annual "Green Wedding Expo" in February. View upcoming programs.
