Trail location and access
The Tall Grass Greenway Trail travels 4.04 miles from Vermont Cemetery Preserve east to Naperville-Plainfield Road in Naperville.
The trail is jointly owned and managed by the Forest Preserve District and Naperville Park District. The Forest Preserve District owns and manages 1.07 mile of the 4.04-mile trail.
The trail may be accessed from Vermont Cemetery Preserve.

Trail experience and activities
The Tall Grass Greenway Trail is a flat, paved linear trail and travels 4.04 miles through open prairie with adjacent residential areas. It is ideal for the following activities:
- Biking
- Hiking/running
- In-line skating
- Cross-country skiing
- Snowshoeing
Trail connections
DuPage River Trail: A paved path extends from the eastern end of the Tall Grass Greenway Trail north along Naperville-Plainfield Road and then east and south along 95th Street to the multi-jurisdictional DuPage River Trail.
Normantown Trail: The western end of the Tall Grass Greenway Trail connects to the paved, 2.6-mile Normantown Trail at Vermont Cemetery Preserve.
