Plum Creek Greenway Trail section closed due to bridge damage

A section of the Plum Creek Greenway Trail is closed due to a a tree that fell and damaged the north bridge closest to Bemes Road. This trail section will remain closed until the tree can be removed and the bridge repaired.

Barricades are in place along either end of this trail section.

Liz Lyons of New Lenox has turned the Forest Preserve District’s Be a Trailblazer challenge into a fun-filled family tradition. From dancing in the rain to spotting tiny critters on the trail, challenge missions have become cherished memories.
