Hammel Woods access to close Thursday for paving work

Hammel Woods – Route 59 Access will be closed Thursday, July 31, for paving work. 

A contractor will be restriping the parking lot lines in the morning, and the preserve will reopen once the work has been completed. 

Weather and other factors could affect this closure. Updates will be posted here as necessary. 

Hammel Woods – Route 59 Access is located on Route 59, north of Route 52/Jefferson Street, in Shorewood.
