Event details

National Trails Day is your chance to get outdoors, connect with your community and give back to the trails you love. This year, the American Hiking Society is empowering everyone to become trail stewards on any trail, anywhere, and we are joining the cause with a trail cleanup at Forked Creek Preserve — Ballou Road Access.  Join the nationwide movement and help build a world where everyone feels welcome and has access to enjoy the great outdoors.

The group will check the shelter for staples, tape and other fasteners then walk the trails looking for loose litter.
