Event details

Several local police departments will come together at Monee Reservoir to celebrate National Night Out. This nationwide event is intended to enhance relationships between residents and law enforcement. Departments include Illinois Department of Nature Resources Conservation Police, the Monee Police Department, the Crete Police Department and the Forest Preserve District of Will County Police Department. Additional local agencies, businesses, and vendors will be on site to support the event’s message of community.

Try our recreation opportunities for free! Take a kayak for a spin while supervised by certified Forest Preserve staff for your safety or borrow a fishing pole and see what you can catch. Get up close to emergency vehicles, participate in fun activities and enjoy some tasty snacks.
