Enjoy a sunset paddle with certified instructors at Lake Chaminwood Preserve. Along the way, interpretive naturalists will highlight some of the wonderful things nature has to offer.
Event requirements
Registration required by Thursday, Sept. 11: 815-722-4121.
Wear shoes and clothes that can get wet, and don’t forget your sunscreen, sunglasses and a water bottle. Previous kayaking experience is recommended as this is a recreational program and not an instructional paddling program.
The natural surface launch area is accessible by a paved trail from the parking lot. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
