Event details
Enjoy an evening at Hammel Woods exploring the habitat of our local bat species. Watch the bats emerge from their sleeping quarters to go out on their nightly hunt. Using echolocation technology, “listen” for bats and discover some fascinating facts about these flying mammals.

Don’t forget a camp chair. You are welcome to bring beer or wine to wind down the event.

This program will take place on natural surfaces. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
