What kinds of trees make up Thorn Creek Woods? Where do different types grow in the woods? How do trees grow? Join us to learn the secret lives of trees. On a hike we will observe the growing habits of the preserve’s different tree species. Make a tree craft to take home.

Participants should be prepared to walk more than 0.75 mile outdoors on natural surface trails across uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should call 708-747-6320.
