Trail Club is back this fall! Each month, a different preserve will be featured for a crisp weekly walk to promote fitness, nature and community! Join other walkers while sticking to a routine and embracing the beauty of the season.
November’s walks will be on a 2.5-mile section of the DuPage River Trail and Hammel Woods Nature Trail at 9 a.m. Sundays, Nov. 1, 8, 15 and 22. Meet at Crumby Recreation Area. Trail Club will also be meeting in September and October:
- September: 5 to 6 p.m. Thursdays, Sept. 3, 10, 17 and 14, at Hadley Valley — Gougar Road
- October: 8 to 9 a.m. Wednesdays, Oct. 7, 14, 21 and 28, at Sand Ridge Savanna Nature Preserve
Participants who attend at least four walks this season will earn a Trail Club sticker.
Event requirements
No registration required.
The trail at Hammel Woods is paved and natural surfaces over terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
