Sandhill cranes are one of the most primitive birds alive today. With a wingspan of 5 feet to 7 feet, this bird cuts a striking image while soaring high above during its annual fall migration. Bring your camping chairs, a warm coat and your sense of adventure! This program will be held at Jasper-Pulaski Fish and Wildlife Area near Medaryville, Indiana. Historically, large numbers of sandhill cranes gather here to feed and rest during their annual fall migration.

You are responsible for your own transportation to and from Jasper-Pulaski Fish and Wildlife Area. Bring binoculars and a camera for this unforgettable experience. Please dress for the weather. The fee includes snacks and experienced guides.
The viewing area is outdoors on natural terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
