Event details

Several local police departments will come together at Monee Reservoir to celebrate National Night Out. This nationwide event is intended to enhance relationships between residents and law enforcement. Departments at the event will include Illinois Department of Nature Resources Conservation Police, the Monee Police Department, the Crete Police Department and the Forest Preserve District of Will County Police Department. Additional local agencies, businesses and vendors will be on site to support the event’s message of community. See emergency vehicles up close, participate in fun activities and enjoy some tasty snacks. Kayaks will be available for a free spin, supervised by certified Forest Preserve staff for your safety.

No registration required.

Monee Reservoir is an accessible facility. Outdoor activities take place along accessible sidewalks and natural terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
