Every full moon tells a story of tides, time and seasonal changes. Join us across Will County for a night where science and wonder meet beneath the glow of the moon. September’s harvest moon provides the perfect opportunity to imagine life at Riverview Farmstead before electricity, when the vast prairies of Will County stretched to the horizon. Discover the stories of three generations of the Clow family and their connection to the farmstead. Join a naturalist as they share tales of daily life on the Illinois prairie while exploring the preserve grounds and touring the interiors of the site's 19th-century buildings.

This program takes place outdoors on crushed limestone trails and indoors with some uneven surfaces. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
