Event details

Every full moon tells a story of tides, time and seasonal changes. Join us across Will County for a night where science and wonder meet beneath the glow of the moon. Join an interpretive naturalist for an evening hike amongst the magnificent bioluminescence of the fireflies. 

This program is part of our full moon program series. Other summer program dates and locations are as follows: 

  • July 29 at Monee Reservoir 
  • Aug. 28 at Monee Reservoir

This hike will be up to 3 miles on paved surfaces. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the event.
