The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

What's the Better View: Fall or Winter at Goodenow Grove?




We have to admit, the views atop and around the big bridge at Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve are amazing in any season. But there's something special about fall and winter that truly sets it apart. 

All it takes is a dusting of snow to turn this bridge, which spans a 40-foot ravine, into a photographer's dream subject. 

The bare branches catch the snow, transforming the area into a mesmerizing winter wonderland.

What about fall, you say?

Nature's artistry along the Plum Creek Greenway Trail is on full display, with an explosion of color fully enveloping the 267-foot-long bridge and providing some stunning views.

Few things are better than an autumn stroll to soak it all in, as the cool, crisp air invigorates you.
