The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Trail Location and Access 

The Plum Creek Greenway Trail travels 3.15 miles through Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve.

The trail may be accessed from Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve, or from a horse trailer parking area on Goodenow Road (view on a Google Map).


Trail Experience and Activities

The Plum Creek Greenway Trail is a mostly hilly, crushed limestone linear and loop trail and travels 3.15 miles through woodland. It is ideal for the following activities:

  • Biking
  • Hiking/Running
  • Horseback Riding
  • Cross-Country Skiing
  • Snowshoeing

Due to the sensitivity of the site's natural resources, dogs are not allowed on portions of the trail. Watch the trailhead signs which indicate where dogs are prohibited.


The Plum Creek Greenway Trail travels through Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve, located on Dutton Road, north of Goodenow Road in Crete Township.
