Watch This Bison Do a 'Happy Dance' on the First Day of Spring

(Screenshot via Facebook)

It would be easy to say that the 800-pound bison doing a happy dance on Wednesday in North Carolina is doing it because like most if us, it was extremely excited about the first day of spring finally arriving. But let's be honest: The bison has no idea that according to the calendar, spring has sprung.

However, it is doing a "happy dance," as officials at the North Carolina Zoo called it. And it just so happens to be doing it on the first day of spring, making it a fun, lighthearted moment that's bringing joy to many based on the reaction it has had online.

The bison in the video, which is named Calf, is one of four at the zoo and she's not the only one who has seemingly done an audition for "So You Think You Can Dance."

Last summer, one of the other bison there took rapper Drake's "KiKi" dance challenge.
