The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Police 'pawsitively surprised' when trash bandit turns itself in — on moving vehicle

Police officers deal with all sorts of situations on a daily basis, but this one may go down as the strangest — and cutest — of all time, courtesy of a raccoon hitching a ride on the front of a cruiser en route to a serious accident scene.

The Colorado Springs Police Department uploaded pictures of the scene to its Facebook page. 

Luckily, the trash bandit didn't obstruct the officer's view while checking out the scene inside the moving vehicle.

The police department said the officer was "pawsitively surprised" when the critter appeared on his windshield. Incredibly, Officer Frabbiele was able to snap a picture while driving before pulling over so the hitchhiker could be moved on its way.

But not before Frabbiele took a few more photos.
