The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

In preparation for freezing temperatures, water fountains and hand pumps are beginning to be turned off for the season throughout Will County's forest preserves.

In addition, the District's boat launches will close November 1, and boat rentals and bait sales at Monee Reservoir will also conclude on this date. Monee Reservoir's visitor center/concessions will be completely closed January 15-February 28.

Water will again be available in the forest preserves on April 1. The District's boat launches as well as boat rentals and bait sales at Monee Reservoir will also reopen on April 1.
