If your weekend plans include heading out to one of our "Food Truck Fridays," make sure to share your experience on social media with our unique Snapchat filters and lenses.
Visitors to the "Food Truck Fridays" series, which opens Friday, June 7 at Hammel Woods – Route 59 Access in Shorewood, can channel their inner foodie – playing with a selection of food truck inspired filters and lenses that bring out the spirit of summer – while chomping on some yummy delectables.
"What better way to enhance an already perfect start to a summer weekend," said Laura Kiran, the Forest Preserve's director of Marketing and Communications. "These filters and lenses give our public a fun platform to further personalize their experience and maybe, by doing so, even encourage family and friends to join them in the coming weeks as the 'Food Truck Fridays' series progresses."
To get in on the lens action, scan our Snapcodes at the program, then snap a selfie and share away! A variety of filters also will be available during each event.
We'll be rolling out different themed lenses and filters throughout the summer based on which food trucks will be appearing at each event.
So go ahead and have some fun, striking a pose and showing off your best side, then sharing it with all of your friends and family on social media.
