Celebrate World Snake Day! Did you know that snakes smell the air to hunt? And they unhinge their jaw to eat? Join us on this hike to learn basic facts about these incredible reptiles and find out which snakes call Will County home. Maybe we can find some northern water snakes or a small brown snake on the Island!
This walk is a companion to the Snakes of Will County Zoom program, but you don’t need to participate in the virtual program.

Registration required by Thursday, July 14: 815-886-1467.
The hike will be 0.5 mile on paved trails and uneven natural terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
