Want a little nature in your winter? Looking to explore the preserves? Get outside, trek the trails and enjoy the magic of the season! Join a naturalist every Saturday afternoon in January and February at a different forest preserve around Will County. This week, walk through the trees of Messenger Woods and learn about its abundant wildlife.

Be sure to dress for the weather and use caution while walking outdoors as snow and ice may be present on the paths and in the parking lot. The hike will be 1 mile to 2 miles over uneven, natural terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
