Want a little nature in your winter? Looking to explore the preserves? Get outside, trek the trails and enjoy the magic of the season! Join a naturalist every Saturday afternoon in January and February at a different forest preserve around Will County. This week walk between the lakes and discover the winter wildlife at the Lake Renwick Heron Rookery Nature Preserve.

Please dress for the weather and use caution while walking outdoors as snow and ice may be present on the paths and in the parking lot. This is an inclusive program, welcoming individuals of all abilities.
The hike will be 2 miles to 3 miles on natural surfaces over uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
