Want a little nature in your winter? Looking to explore the preserves? Get outside, trek the trails and enjoy the magic of the season! Join a naturalist every Saturday afternoon in January and February at a different forest preserve in Will County. This week walk through a trio of habitats — prairie, woodland and wetland — at Hickory Creek Preserve.

Meet at the Hickory Hollow Shelter.
Please dress for the weather and use caution while walking outdoors as snow and ice may be present on the paths and in the parking lot. The hike will be 2 miles to 3 miles alternating between paved and natural surfaces over uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
