The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Event Details

Have you ever seen a timberdoodle do his acrobatic dance in the sky? Have you heard him twitter his wings with love? Don’t miss out!! The program will begin with a quick inside introduction to the American Woodcock.  Then, we will venture out to look and listen for this elusive bird.  Meet inside Four Rivers Environmental Education Center, and be sure to dress for the weather.

The hike will be 1-2 miles over uneven, natural terrain.

Four Rivers Environmental Education Center is an accessible facility. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering, or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
