The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Event Details

Be inspired by the spring season and view beautiful works of art at Plum Creek Nature Center’s first juried art show “Vernal Equinox: Spring Awakens.”

Meet the artists who used nature as their muse. Enjoy the night with light refreshments and wine. Discover which masterpieces earned the honors of first, second and third place as voted on by our jury, and find out visitors’ top pick as well.

Explore the nature center’s exhibits including live reptiles and an observational bee hive, and preview the on-loan exhibition “H2-WHOA!,” organized by the Purdue Agriculture Exhibit Design Center, Purdue University. A special thanks to the Nature Foundation of Will County for providing funding for the artists’ reception, prizes and the special Purdue exhibition.
