The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Event Details

“A Sand County Almanac,” the classic book with its “year-in-the-life” approach to a land parcel, revealed Aldo Leopold’s land ethic and his gift for language. Join us as we take a short hike through Isle a la Cache preserve and share some seasonal passages from “A Sand County Almanac.”  Afterwards, we will return to Isle a la Cache Museum for a screening and discussion of “Green Fire: Aldo Leopold and a Land Ethic for Our Time.”
