The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Event Details

Join fellow birders as we learn, explore and search for birds. These preserve locations provide a variety of habitats for birds. The Monee Reservoir hike will focus on birds that live near lakes and marsh habitat. This is a great way to learn what to look for when birding in the preserves. Bring your binoculars and favorite bird field guide.

Event Requirements

No registration required.

Participants will enjoy a .50- to 1-mile hike on paved and natural surface trails across uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
