The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Event Details

Celebrate salamanders at this program featuring a new interactive exhibition: “A Salamander Tale.” The exhibit provides a fun, interactive approach to learning about salamanders. Learn about this special amphibian and what you can do to ensure its protection!

At this opening night for the exhibition, play games, win prizes, create a craft and meet our own salamander celebrity, Shoebert. “A Salamander Tale” will be on display through May 31. Exhibition hours are Tuesdays-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sundays, noon-4 p.m. Please note that the exhibit will not be open for viewing on Friday, March 30 or Sunday, April 1 due to the Easter holiday.

The exhibition was organized by the Purdue Agriculture Exhibit Design Center, Purdue University, and is brought to the Forest Preserve through funding provided by The Nature Foundation of Will County.

Event Requirements

No registration required.

The exhibition will be located indoors in an accessible facility.
