School is out for summer! Say goodbye to books, homework and school routines and hello to the first official day of summer. Learn what the summer solstice is while hiking in the forest to see how the sun brings life and makes things grow. Return to the campfire to make s’mores and an outdoor summer to-do list. Not sure what to add to the list? Our naturalist will have plenty of ideas.

Meet at the Hidden Oaks Council Ring. Please be sure to dress for the weather.
The hike is less than a mile on natural, uneven surfaces. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this workday should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the volunteer session.
