The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Event Details

Visit Monee Reservoir and help keep our preserve free of trash.

Fishing line, as well as other debris, pose serious threats to wildlife when they become entangled in line, or swallow hooks or bits of plastic. Trash also obscures the inherent beauty of the preserve. Help us keep the preserves clean.

To participate, stop by the concessions window, pick up a trash bag and gloves, and fill the bag with any trash you collect. Bring it back to the visitor center and receive a free gift!

This program runs daily through Sunday, June 23. Visitor center hours are 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday. The facility is closed Mondays.
