The Nature Foundation of Will County will host its seventh annual native plant sale. Explore the benefits of planting native species in your lawn or garden with more than 150 species of native perennials, shrubs and trees available for purchase.
These beneficial plants will not only beautify your yard, but will help protect the environment by encouraging biodiversity.
A presale fundraiser is also scheduled for Friday, May 17 from 4-8 p.m. For more information, including a plant list, pricing, presale tickets and event updates, please visit the Nature Foundation's website or follow the Nature Foundation on Facebook. The Nature Foundation of Will County is a volunteer organization committed to raising funds in support of the Forest Preserve District’s education, recreation and conservation efforts.
No registration is required for this program.
The native plant sale will be held on natural surfaces across uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should call 815.727.8700, or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
