Wonders of Wildflowers

Take time to stop and smell the wildflowers. For only a brief time, spring wildflowers fill our forest floor with blues, pinks, yellows, bright whites and more. Hike and explore with a naturalist through beautiful Messenger Woods Nature Preserve, which is famous for its flower diversity, abundance and color in the springtime. Get all of your senses ready to learn how to ID the many wildflowers and what makes them special.

Hiking may be as far as 1 mile and will be on natural surface trails over uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering, or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
