The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Event Details

This program is designed to practice environmental stewardship while helping others – what a win-win! Monee Reservoir will collect bicycles Tuesday, April 17-Sunday, April 29 to be given to local recycling nonprofits that refurbish them for youth, individuals with disabilities, and families in developing countries as a mode of transportation. The bikes are redistributed to people locally, regionally and globally. Bikes can be in any condition: new or beyond repair. Be green – reduce, reuse, recycle! Let the Forest Preserve be an avenue to make that happen, especially to benefit someone in need.
