The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Event Details

Whether you are just beginning or are an experienced birder, you will want to join along in these hikes as we search the preserves for spring migrants. We start with a quick presentation on what species we can expect to find in our area at this time of year, and then head out on the trail to find them with a naturalist as our guide.

All participants are automatically entered into the “Big Day – Bird Hike Challenge” drawing.

Event Requirements

No registration required.

Bring your binoculars and favorite bird field guide.

The hike will be between 1 and 1.5 miles over uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
