The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Bring some friends and do something great for Earth Day! Join the Forest Preserve District in a natural restoration workday at Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve. Natural areas require a lot of work. Put some gloves on, grab some clippers and let’s make room for native plants. All of the necessary safety equipment will be provided. Be a part of this important effort and witness the transformation before your eyes.

This program has two sessions:

10 a.m.-Noon
1-3 p.m.

Organized groups are welcome, but please call to register.

The program will take place off-trail on uneven terrain. Snacks will be provided.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering, or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
