The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Event Details

The Nature Foundation of Will County, the District’s fundraising foundation will be hosting its 6th annual native plant sale.

The pre-sale will be held on Friday, May 19 and ticket holders receive premier access to the plant sale prior to Saturday’s public event.

Enjoy music, artisan cheese and sausages, craft beer, boutique wines, a selection of desserts and premier access to the native plant sale prior to Saturday’s event! Tickets to attend Friday’s pre-sale event are $25 per person and can be purchased from the Nature Foundation of Will County.

Proceeds support the Forest Preserve's award-winning nature education and conservation programs.

More than 100 species of perennials, shrubs, and trees grown by the nursery will be available for purchase. Experts will answer questions and help visitors select the right plants for their specific landscapes.

The event will be held rain or shine.

Cash, checks, and credit cards will be accepted. No refunds will be given.

Event Requirements

The native plant pre-sale will be held on natural surfaces across uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should call 815.727.8700, or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
