The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Event Details

Join us for a guided tour of the wet areas of Thorn Creek Woods. Discover vernal ponds, listen for the return of amphibian choruses and explore the marshes of Owl Lake and beyond. These low-lying areas provide vital habitat for woodland creatures and are an integral part of the Thorn Creek ecosystem.

Registration is required by calling 708.747.6320 by Thursday, June 15.

Participants will enjoy a 3-mile hike on natural surface trails across uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should call 708.747.6320.
