Say so long to sunny evenings with one last trail hike to end the season before the clocks fall back and the days grow shorter. Join us to reminisce about outdoor adventures this season and brainstorm ways to get out in nature as the sun sets earlier and the weather grows colder.
Event requirements
Registration required by Wednesday, Nov. 1: 815-727-8700.
Meet at Messenger Marsh Shelter and head out for a hike followed by a sunset sendoff activity back at the shelter. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable hiking shoes.
The hike will be approximately 1 mile over crushed limestone and uneven surfaces. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
