Have you always wanted to birdwatch but didn’t know where to start? Now is a great time to begin! In the first of this series, learn how to use color as a primary tool to identify birds. Indoors, practice the basics of birdwatching and then head outdoors for a birding hike. Previous experience and equipment are not required.

This is an inclusive program, welcoming individuals of all abilities. Please dress for the weather and use caution while walking outdoors as snow and ice may be present on the paths and in parking lots.
This hike will be up to 1 mile on paved and natural terrain across uneven surfaces. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
