This ongoing program runs from Saturday, April 8, to Sunday, April 30. Hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays to Sundays.
Clean out the garage and make a difference by recycling your bicycle! The Forest Preserve District is collecting for Working Bikes, an organization that refurbishes and distributes bikes globally to individuals with disabilities in developing countries for transportation. No bike is too old or rusty! All bike parts are accepted.
Event requirements
No registration is required for this event.
The bike drop is located on the north side of the parking lot, designated with a flag and a sign. The surface is flat and accessible. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
