Rec Bike Club

Age: Ages 16 or older.
Enjoy nature while getting a little exercise. Join a group of individuals on a relaxing recreational bike ride on the Wauponsee Glacial Trail. Ride through a beautiful reclaimed abandoned railway path.
This ride is the final ride for Rec Bike Club rides this fall. Other rides are as follows:
- 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, at Centennial Trail (7.2 miles)
- 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Messenger Marsh (5.5 miles)
- 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at Hadley Valley — Gougar Road Access (7 miles)
Those who participate in all four rides will receive a promotional rechargeable bike taillight.

The bike ride will leave from the parking lot at Sugar Creek Preserve and turn around at the Manhattan Road Access.
The route will be approximately 8.5 miles along crushed limestone trails. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should call 815.727.8700, or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
